Okay I admit it - I'm old and boring and I like doing jigsaws. I also have a dislike of buying jigsaws (well most things) online. How come I can't seem to find a decent stockist of jigsaws in Scotland? Garden centres and the likes usually have a small selection but nothing very large. Help!

Unless the game is being played in Liverpool at the request of Cote d'Ivoire I can only assume that the SFA are raking in mega bucks for TV rights to this game. Strange way to treat home based Scots fans who give their support through thick and thin.

Recently i have been experiencing problems with Bluesky - freezing and loss of column headings. My only solution has been to uninstall the program and then re-install. Is there some setting i can change to prevent this becoming a recurring issue? Has anyoneelse had the same problem?

Okay, @Bluesky, I've tried on more than once to raise this matter with you, without any form of reply or advice. I don't want to see only one side of any debate. "Reply to a blocked post": "Blah, blah, blah" I prefer to judge for myself what side of any debate I align with. Don't censor my timeline.

Trump may well want to see Scotland thrive, but I'm pretty certain that most Scots don't want a Scotland modelled on his world outlook. I don't claim to speak for all Scots, just the ones with morals.

Okay, I've asked this question before but I didn't get any response. Why do I frequently see replies to posts that are blocked (not by me but presumably by the person replying)? I'd rather see both sides of any issue and decide for myself if I feel a block is appropriate.

I haven't blocked many users so it doesn't relate any action of mine. I prefer to see both sides of a debate to make my own mind up. But how?

I despair, reading in The Guardian today that in a poll 21% of 18 - 45yo's agree that "the best system for running a country is a strong leader who doesn't have to bother about elections". Read a history book, watch a news program. It doesn't take too much effort to see where that leads.

It's a misty old day today. Hopefully we'll get a few more sunny days just like yesterday.

In this feed (Scottish Posts (Local))I anticipated exactly that but many of the entries are only nominally Scottish related. A lot of them seem to be no more Scottish than the fact that they include a place name or surname which may originate in Scotland but which in modern times have world wide use

As regards Scotland's hills and mountains there are various groups such as Munrobaggers whose aim is to pick off each of peaks over 3000ft / 914m. But are there enthusiasts out there whose aim is to visit each of Scotland's islands?

On holiday in Berlin and I'm thoroughly enjoying my stay here. However, yesterday I took a trip out to Oranienburg/Sachsenhausen and took a walk around what is left of Nazi KL that existed there. It's still a very disturbing experience, even today.

Can anyone recommend somewhere in the UK in which to purchase bottles of Birra Moretti la Rossa? I tasted it in Italy recently but haven't been able to buy it locally in Glasgow now that I'm back from holiday.

Any obliging gardeners out there who can identify this plant for me? I think I sewed the seeds for it myself, but I've thrown away the packet or box they came. The stems are prickly and furry and I seem to be allergic to them!
