Joker 2 wasnt as bad as I remembered first time watching it. Second time it’s mediocre at best. The idea of the joker being consumed by his shadow is still stupid. Basically trying to erase the first movie. Cannot stress enough how dumb that concept is.

Theres something incredibly odd about Craig Mazins’ writing quality between TLOU & Chernobyl. Yeah Chernobyl had very noticeable flaws— but the pacing and execution was fucking SOLID. And HBO’s TLOU lacks that. I actually like part II but S2 did it injustice. (1/?)

TLOU S2 is actual booty cheeks. This season felt less "some people will just never play the game" and more "lets show the haters that this story can WORK." (I still believe the story can work. The overall storytelling in this season lacks the standards for execution and line delivery.)

!!!! TLOU s2 premiere was super solid. I LOVE how they portrayed the stalker. I was so scared how they would portray it but they fucking hit the nail on the head. I’m also very happy that they’re structuring the story a little differently, esp where the Jackson party took place in the story.
