Today is hot. I am hot. The cat appears to have melted. That's it, really.

Today's relocation to the outdoors study is necessitated by the soaring UK heat but made more difficult by last night's torrential rain that is still soaked into the outside table and chairs. A plastic tablecloth, two black plastic bin bags, a slanket and an old blanket have been involved.
