The calabash splits, spilling closely held secrets. “You fear breaking,” the diviner muses. “Why? Do you love your self-imposed prison?”

In the stillness before dawn, the wind shifts, carrying the scent of rain. “No rush” the old woman hums. “In due time it grows.”

Smoke curls around the offering, vanishing into unseen hands. A voice, neither near nor far: “To be heard, you must first learn to listen.”

A lone drumbeat echoes in the dark, steady as a heartbeat. “Before you ask the Orisha for a path,” the priest murmurs, “ask if you are willing to walk it.”

The elder pours cool water over the initiate’s hands, the ripples in the basin distorting the candlelight. “A river does not doubt its course,” he says. “Why do you?”

The ache of longing. The restless desire to surpass your limits. Thinking that carves pathways where non existed.

Human consciousness, bound by time, generates thoughts moment by moment. But what of primordial consciousness? Does it exist? —outside of time? —perceiving all things at once?

Daily life ebbs and flows, sleepily, dreamily. The groggy ones fail to see the mysteries and miracles surrounding them.

Learn to recognize, to savor, the underlying presence in every moment—the stillness beneath your thoughts.

Some break under pressure. Others survive it. But the rarest *thrive* in chaos—growing stronger through volatility, disorder, and risk.

Things dressed up as good but concealing a cunning self-interest—examples are all around you.

Becoming aware of how you’ve confined the mind. Resolving, now, to give it room to roam. Breathing deeply. Tension dissolving. A measure of peace settles within.

Truth—constantly evolving.

Constantly transforming, constantly transformed. There is no fixed and final point.

In this moment, you are whole. But you don’t yet know it.

The despair you knew is transformed into a beautiful rainbow. Consciousness extends and your energy field opens to receive a joy and bliss that are beyond words.

Though you might feel alone, the Orishas are there—making a way for what’s yet to come.

Sometimes, the Orishas withhold what we want to give us what we need.

Every moment we make choices that shape our path for better or worse

What we desire isn’t always aligned with the lesson or healing the Orishas have in store for us.

Life is a teacher, and we are its students. It’s up to us to embrace the Orishas’ lessons and actively shape our own destiny.

Relying solely on magic and ritual to remove obstacles and attract riches misses the point
