Let's talk about gearing in MMO's. #mmo #gamedesign To me, gearing your characters is one of the most important parts of the game. It's a mark that really lets you see how far you've come while playing the game. I'll touch on some games below, but not FF 14. I have not played enough of it :(

Hello new followers! I'm unsure of where you came from but I beat Satisfactory and it only took 160 hours! It's officially the longest time I've taken to beat a game.

Would you rather have the game autosave after a long hallway / right before a big room, giving away the surprise of an epic encounter but saving your progress or Keep the mystery of the game alive, knowing you can lose all progress if you've been a dumb dumb and forgot to save?

3 AM game thoughts. I really enjoy fishing in video games. It's one of the first things I try and do whenever a game offers me that option. Fishing itself needs to have a rewarding minigame for it to be enjoyable. It also helps if you can collect the fish you catch. #gamedev #fishing
