Is it genuinely so hard to respect survivors and their privacy? Bambina shouldn’t need to say this.

Okay last thing and I’m moving on: When a community stays silent, survivors hear it loudest: “We’ve chosen who to protect… and it’s not you.” A community that calls itself safe but stays silent teaches survivors one thing and it’s that safety was never meant for them.
