First light and it shows a different perspective on our local history. A lovely morning full with birdsong as things begin to awaken after the winter slumber.

Like a candle in a window, a beacon of light, hope. Nature’s candle, the Snowdrop, our beacon of light, hope. Spring is in the distance.

Roots exposed but still standing strong, watching, minding. Outwardly bare but full of life waiting to return.

What better way to begin a new year by spending time in a place that bears all the knowledge of many turning years.
