I had an excuse to hash some marten designs and after a few iterations I found a couple that I like. I might alter one of them and use these as a summer and winter coat, or turn them into two different characters.

and part 2 I'm impressed she managed to roll herself over to pin the marten. Though I think there was little resistance.

I ended up doodling some easter bunnies this afternoon, so here's a little more egg art.

While I'm at it here's my set up now. I moved a bunch of things around recently and now it's starting to feel nice and cozy.

Seeing how the gpu market is doing right now I dumped some of savings into a nice pen display. I'm loving it so far, my only other experience with these was a 2012 era chinese pen display with awful line jitter and parallax. The price to quality ratio on these is looking quite nice these days.

That's a lot cake for one marten.... and who let him have it in the den?  ------------ A lil painting I started on my birthday a few days ago. I'm pretty happy with how it came out for the time spent on it.

She's lost in thought munching on pumpkin guts I think. Who knows if she'll get around to actually carving that pumpkin before she makes herself sick.

Sometimes you got to do it yourself. ------------ Did most of the lines with Noodler's black ink with a gifted dip pen I forgot I had, microns, walnut ink, gouache, and PS.

New traditional art stream setup? It seems silly to be using the legs from my old drawing desk on top of the desk that replaced it, but they actually make a good frame for mounting lights and camera over my drawing space. Even the pipe clamp I bolted a tripod head onto is from the leg adjusters. :P

I was in the mood to paint something shiny and so I thought it'd be fun to try my  hand at latex. Tera wears it well I think, it's been some time since we've seen her.

Rabbits and foxes go well together I think.  A random sketch I decided to use for some painting experiments. I wanted to mess with a different set of brushes than my usual ones, found some I might use more.

Been a while since we've seen this raccoon. I missed the mark a little on the body type I was going for, but a relaxing a scene to paint nonetheless.

Egg retrieval is going about as expected. The big ones aren't so easy to coerce out without some cooperation.  --- I had another sketch from easter lying around, so I used it for some painting practice.

The egg crazed marten became a little too impatient for egg day and snuck into the easter bunny's egg stash early. Of course she was caught, not that she seems to mind. --- Oops, a little late with this one, at least it's still spring.

After some rummaging... how about some unused sketches from the previous two years of easter marten pictures? speaking of, I should get on that soon.

I suppose I have enough unfinished marten art to keep the train rolling. This is from 2 years ago, I've been meaning to finish it, but just never got around to it.

A little anatomy experiment from a while ago. I was going to fix up some details, but never got around to it. I figure I'd just slap color on it and get it out of my WIP folder.

Mar10 day? Sounds good to me. I revamped some older pieces for fun a bit ago... Penelope always putting things in places.

Just a doe having a little lie down. A totally normal position for a deer I assure you. --- Just cleaning up another doe sketch from the pile. The color is a bit of an after thought, I just don't like my line art all on it's own :P
