One week of #covid. I'm still so tired. I'm feeling slightly better now, but nowhere near good. But it's better!

So... I've got covid. Who would've thought...

WHAT IF? I rarely thought about it, but what if I'm just... not good enough? What if I'm devoting myself to writing but will never get the visibility? What if I never get more than a few books sold per year? What if I'm just wasting my life chasing ghosts? It's upsetting... #WritingCommunity

Omg I had a dream with the perfect plot for a book, so I think I have a new #WIP now. But, as it always happens with dreams, as soon as I woke up, I forgot most of it (esp. the important bits), so now I'm trying to pick up scraps. Whyyyyyy D: #WritingCommunity

So now I'm wondering: I'm a Brit, and we love our imperial units, so there's plenty of feet, inches and yards in my book. But now I'm thinking that maybe I should switch to metres (plus it takes place outside of the UK)? Should I? Shouldn't I? Why or why not? #WritingCommunity

Oh, my stats for 2024. A couple more copies sold than in 2023 but almost no Kindle Unlimited. Pretty upsetting result to be honest because it's just pocket money. All I can do is hope that 2025 will be better... :( #WritingCommunity

The plan is to finish my #WIP by the end of February. Which means I probably won't do so in 2025. BUT! the plan is there. Now all I need is time and focus :D #WritingCommunity

Last day of the year (ugh) and I finally forced myself to write. It's only one page after about an hour (with some breaks because I clearly cannot commit mentally), but gosh, it feels SOOOO good. And I love my MC and I want to make her do stuff. 🥰 Are you writing today, #WritingCommunity?

It's the end of the year and I have absolutely zero will to write or do anything creative. Things suck. D: #WritingCommunity

I kind of want to write, but my brain has shut down for good. Or maybe it's my body. I'm not sure anymore. All I know is that I'd just end up staring at my manuscript for hours before I go to bed crying. And that's not good. #WritingCommunity

It's funny because I had a breakdown almost exactly two years ago, and I'm having a breakdown now again. No matter how many years pass, spending #Christmas without your parents is still one of the worst feelings in the world...

#WritingCommunity Do you do anything with marketing profiles that follow you or comment under your posts? I think I've just decided I'm going to block them, because they only want to sell their services. And I don't want it. And I don't want to give them exposure.

Do you talk to yourself? I do A LOT. I think nowadays 90% of conversations I have is just asking myself out loud: "what do you want to eat today? what do you want to do? should we go and get groceries? do you want to sleep already?". Am I (going) insane?

I'm too sad to write today. As I was yesterday. And the day before. I don't know what's going on, it just hits me sometimes for no reason and all I can do is sit, stare at the wall and feel miserable... :( And I really wish it wasn't that way. #WritingCommunity

I'm feeling slightly better, which means MAYBE I'll do a bit of #writing today. But I haven't written in so long I need to remind myself first where I was and what I wanted to do next. THE WORST. #WritingCommunity

For some reason I really can't focus today because my mind is somewhere else (I know where, I kind of know why, I have no idea how to fix it). It's so painful because instead of writing or doing anything productive all I want is just stare at the ceiling until I fall asleep... :( #WritingCommunity
