A big reason why I'm so lenient with games is because, memes aside, I *genuinely* enjoy the medium. It's my favorite ever. Games are a canvas for expression. You can do anything. From the most cinematic over-the-shoulder action game, to the smallest, byte-sized sound novel. I think that's wonderful.
