Holy moly, every time I mess around with nginx configs, I always end up breaking it 😂 but i think it was worth it. Since im self hosting, i wanted to upgrade it to use http/3. So at least it will reuse connections and all the additional magic that is http/3! #nginx #selfhosting

Didnt know this until now when it comes to database servers. Its highly reliant, not just on storage but also ram. RAM allows the fastest I/O (duh) and cache. The CPU matters ofc but if you had to choose, you'd definitely prefer more RAM #selfhosting #database
