Unfortunate 5-3 in the qualifier weekend but I hit rank 4 going 70-10 with this very sweet Pioneer Izzet Lessons deck. Arne got the qualification with it as well. Check out Jitse who first came up with the idea's free guide as well!

Lost in top 8 of the MOCS Open. Great sealed pool that I think I built well into just a complete trainwreck draft, not sure if I had any moves in the draft, very hard seat.

Wrote a tournament report talking about some of my thoughts and feelings throughout my run to the top 8 of PT EOE, realized I only posted it on the other site so I'm sharing it here as well!

Tough pool to build, fortunate to get there. Started UW and boarded into BR when OTD and against decks that I felt had good defensive tools vs me. Stayed UW against decks with great non-green top end that I couldnt interact with well.

With GP Orlando coming up the landfall deck seems like it's in a nice spot, loses nothing, cut down rotates, and a ton of new options in EOE. The last ~6 or so slots have always been up in the air and I'm trying a chunkier Gruul version to start.

Decided I wanted to write up a tournament report / fun memories report, as I like the idea of writing up my most fun moments after events to remind myself of the fun times I have at these events.

10-4 for 21st at the Canadian RC with a cutter list prepared for mono red with the two main deck obliterating bolts. Played against 14 nice opponents which was lovely. Excited to play more standard for the PT

8-2 but breakers weren't good enough to make top 8 in today's MOCS open, deck was absurd but some mana issues cost me big in both my losses. We go again tomorrow :)

First prelim of the new format, deck was completely absurd. Boarded into a true greed pile splashing for ruinous ultimatum + monastery messanger in my first round as my opponents deck had absurd late game as well. Feel free to check out the pool at this link

Qualifier weekend didn't break my way but was pretty happy with the Golgari Mid list I settled on. Deck has a million different ways to be built and excited to work on it more in the future.
