20 Jan 2026 G4 Aurora. Cape Tourville, Tasmania. The aurora was very colourful in camera, with a mix of reds, greens, purples and blues. Not very colourful naked eye, though.

Proba-3 solar corona raw data is available for download. Here's my first pass attempt at processing level 3 data.. from 11 Sep 2025. Amazing coronal detail, but also pretty severe sensor and stacking artifacts. Perhaps

May 10/11 2024 G5 Aurora Super Storm. I was lucky to be on the west coast of Tasmania, where skies were pretty clear. At morning onset, Ocean Beach Strahan. In the evening, Couta Rocks in the North West.
