The first positive poem I've written in several years 💜

The opening of the first chapter of the new book I'm writing. It's the longest first chapter I've ever written 🙈 (5,600 words). I usually keep my chapters 3k or less, but this book has a lot to say.

My trauma therapist did not document details about phone calls to the insurance company 🫠 Plus she keeps saying shit in messages that will derail my case, although she's not doing it on purpose, she's just ignorant about the process. So, she's given me nothing solid.

JFC my therapist contacted me to inform me that UH lied AGAIN. She DID advocate for me and call. UH said she never called. My therapist said they wouldn't send her anymore documentation. UH is fucking destroying my mental health FFS!

I'm withdrawing the hearing request and telling my lawyer I'm done fighting. UnitedHealthcare and now my therapist have triggered my PTSD so heavily that severe symptoms are returning that I'd thought were in remission for the past three months.

My insurance company just sent me papers for the hearing. They sent me shit I swear I never got and they'll claim they sent it to me before. They've gaslit me so heavily I feel like I'm going crazy, I'm extremely symptomatic right now and upset, and my brain is just... fucked. UH is fucking evil.

Possible bad news about my hearing. My trauma specialist and her clinic staff did not do their part all the way 🙃 My doctor just... did not call or even try to meet with someone from my insurance company like I asked her to twice, and she the note she sent was half-assed. I feel a little betrayed.

CW; healthy weight loss. CPTSD destroyed my life & it made me emotionally binge-eat to escape the pain for years. Now as I'm healing with the help of someone who's become very dear to me, I've stopped emotionally eating & am feeling better about myself 💜 Seeing the signs of healing is unreal for me.

I've contacted legal aid, and my hearing was just scheduled for two weeks from now at a time I'm not sure I can realistically wake up at (my medication may make it impossible, but I'm going to fight it the best I can). Some friends are telling me to sue properly, and I might.

I just fucked UnitedHealthcare over, and I am positively GLOWING. I've been fighting to keep my trauma specialist, who I haven't seen now since last October, since UnitedHealthcare decided to drop her. They were super shady about the whole appeals process and tried to derail it and fuck it up. 1/8
