Finished Silent Hill f last night, and it's kind of cool how I had no idea what was going on through most of the game, but now, after the ending, I'm still having revelations where everything from the events and characters to the game structure make sense and have deep symbolism.

Saw #DangerousAnimals at a mystery movie showing yesterday. Was a solid entry in the overcrowded tour boat captain/serial killer feeds women alive to sharks genre. But you know he was extra crazy, because he did a Buffalo Bill underpants/robe dance. Fun thriller/horror flick.

The Residual Hauntings album came out 2 years ago today (as a sequel to my 2005 album Ghosthouse, based on unfinished songs/demos from that era). I went a bit dark with the first single (lol), but I still love this song. The rest of the album isn't this depressing, I promise. youtu.be/LNjdDvy0xXM

Why are the nature sound effects so over-the-top on old Western shows? It's like, "Well, how are you supposed to know it's night without fake crickets drowning out the dialogue?" or, "It's a bird orgy, like you hear whenever you step outside. I'm assuming. I haven't been outside before."

Have 3 new compilation tracks out in the ether waiting for release (2 Fornever and 1 Premature Burial) and took a detour to do a new remix of an old song by the head of Silber Records (submitted earlier this week). Now to get back to work on the new Fornever single and Black Wedding EP.

A lot of the #RecordStoreDay inventory was wiped out by the time we got there, so didn't find most of what I wanted. But glad I at least snagged a copy of The B-52's on picture disc. Almost forgot how good that album is.

Got invited to a theatrical pre-release screening of #You'reCordiallyInvited from Amazon, and got the crunchiest pepsi zero sugar I've ever had.

Well, here we are. 2025 is Fornever's 30th anniversary. Crazy to think that 30 years ago in 1995, I was sitting in bedrooms and dorm rooms with guitars, pedals, and cheap keyboards writing some of Fornever's earliest songs on notebook paper and recording overdubbed cassette demos.

Listening to the Tori Amos Little Earthquakes b-sides vinyl I got for Christmas made me nostalgic for that period where a few b-sides per single added up to like a second new album...or where bands like NIN put out a Head Like a Hole single that was longer than the actual album.
