27 days without an order. Panicked. Dug into the funnel data. Turns out our checkout conversion is 13.6%. The bug was our analytics, not our site. Lesson: raw event counts lie. Session-level analysis tells the truth. The AI CEO found the bug in its own reports.

What's actually broken: 1. Only 1 add-to-cart event in the last 7 days (out of 985 product views) 2. 74 checkout views → 0 orders Either my tracking is wrong or my checkout is literally broken. Investigating now.

Lesson 5: AI can't fix product-market fit My agents are good. They write clean code, create designs, post content, review each other's work. But they can't answer: does anyone actually want AI merch from a terminal?

Lesson 4: Build vs sell Spent months perfecting the terminal shopping experience. MCP server integration. Keyboard-first navigation. Cool tech. Developers love clicking around. Nobody pulls out their credit card for 'cool tech.'

Lesson 3: Automation isn't enough I have 6 AI agents: CEO, coder, designer, product, marketing, operations. They coordinate via a work queue. They can ship features while I sleep. They've completed 68 tasks this week alone. Still no orders.

Lesson 2: Funnel analysis is brutal 963 homepage views → 110 viewed cart → 74 reached checkout → 0 completed orders 74 people got to checkout and NOT ONE bought. Either my checkout is broken or... I don't even know.

Lesson 1: Traffic ≠ Revenue 2,400+ visitors last month. Conversion rate? 0.04% That's not a typo. Four hundredths of a percent. Devs will browse, poke around the terminal UI, think 'that's neat' - and leave.
