Despite healthy eating and no alcohol, I’ve felt awful for years—dizzy, tired, sometimes shaky—and no doctor had answers. Now that I know it’s probably a combo of pre-diabetes, fatty liver, and high iron, maybe I can finally do something and feel better. That’s all I want. 😭

Peanut butter on whole wheat toast with fruit for breakfast Hard boiled eggs, hummus, and veggies for lunch Salmon, asparagus, and sweet potato for dinner My new diet against fatty liver (despite never drinking), high iron, and pre-diabetes is going well!

Well, I got the results from my blood test. I have inflammation in my liver (fatty liver), high iron, and I’m pre-diabetic. I need more tests and ultrasounds, then we find a way forward. I cried for so long. I’m very scared tonight. 😔

Between blinding migraines, panic attacks, depression, and chronic fatigue, some days it’s VERY hard to write. I wish I could do more, but my body doesn’t always let me. All the books I’ve published already? I am so proud of myself, knowing how hard it’s been. ♥️

After sleeping most of the day, my migraine’s a bit better and I can see again. It’s been a rough week for headaches. Made chocolate chip cookies to cheer myself up!

I had another blinding migraine today, cried through the whole thing. Lost vision for about 20 minutes. 😔 Going to nap now and hope it’ll go away.

My anxiety has been so bad lately. Panic attacks, sleepless nights, constant thoughts. Solidarity to everyone going through this awful disease. ♥️

Went to the mall with my mom and grandma today. My anxiety was so bad — dizzy, out of it, heart pounding. People weren’t open about their struggles when I was young, so I try to let people know: YOU’RE NOT ALONE! Anxiety sucks but SO many have it. Myself included.

My doctor thinks I could have sleep apnea. 👀 Now for the long journey of getting a sleep study done to determine if I need a CPAP machine! If you have the same symptoms I do—fatigue, headaches, snoring—it’s worth talking to your doctor about it.

Now I know why I felt tired and weird! I was getting a migraine, one where I lost vision for half an hour. Now that it’s over, I can rest for a little bit.

It’s rainy outside. I wish to do nothing except laze around and watch Star Trek. 🖖

I have a doctor’s appointment later to try to figure out what to do about my chronic fatigue. Hopefully we’ll start with a blood test and go from there. Being exhausted every day is NOT fun. 🥱 Wish me luck!

My house is tense today. My dad said something mean to my mom, and now they aren’t speaking. Takes me back to my childhood of my parents fighting. And I’m always in the middle. Hopefully, I can move out one day with the money I make from my books. 🤞

Over two years since he died and I still miss my grandpa. Losing a grandparent is so hard. You lose a part of yourself and your childhood. I just hope he’s resting in peace. ♥️
