Home time now with 450002 initially then a change onto 450046

No uni today so I’m off to see my family with 450021 as my chariot - also a couple of buses at the station too

Day 3 and today it’s the 64 branded bus which takes me to Winchester!

U7 again today - only runs a couple of times a day but is much faster as it runs non stop Winchester to the university via the M3!

This mornings bus - plus a friendly cat at the bus stop!

Not a frequent service but there is a morning run fast from Winchester to Highfield Campus, so I’ll be taking advantage of this today.

On an unrelated note… I really don’t like my new hair product - it smells great but the hold is all wrong! I really don’t do change well!

Time to start university with @historyatsoton.bsky.social - only inductions and welcome week stuff today - but the journey starts here on this bus! Here’s to the next 3 years!

The guy behind me is having a domestic over the phone - he’s a right arsehole - shouting down the phone, swearing at every other word and being a right dick! I honestly hope whoever he’s arguing with dumps him - he’s an absolute nob!

Time to head home with 450007 and we have051 on the rear - it’s been a fun day, and I hope you’ve enjoyed me sharing my little mainline bash!

Emerging from a magnificent sunset 458411 becomes my first 458/4 of the day!

Back for some 455s now with 455703 doing the honours - just the one stop as I’ll be picking up another train then!

Back on the SWR network with 458530 now 🙂

Time to add some Southern haulage to today and 377164 does the honours!

21399 is next on the Circle Line - she’ll whisk me to Victoria

Now a quick hop with 465049 up to Cannon Street!

A stop off at Waterloo now for some brunch and to devise a plan of what to do next!

Now it’s time for 455873 and we have 455710 up front!

Of course it’s not just the 455s we are losing, so I also took the opportunity to ride with 458535 - we have 533 on the rear

A quick platform change and it’s 455720 which is next up for haulage!

Next up is 455863 (we have 455708 up front) - trying my best to get some classic traction in today

More 455 action now with 455852 taking charge of chariot duties!

455739 brings some classic BR second generation EMU travel to today! She will take me on my next leg!

450082 picks up the second leg of today’s journey and will take me to Guildford

I’m having a track basking day as I’m off to uni tomorrow - so we start with 450078 on the first leg of today’s epic journey!
