Last run of the day and a loco I’ve been waiting all day to ride with, a favourite of mine: 73156 - the glorious BR Standard 5.

Double headed austerities now with 68067 and 3809 (No. 18) - fabulous little locos and wonderful having them work together!

6990 ‘Witherslack Hall’ is up next and boy is she sounding good! A fantastic locomotive!

34072 ‘257 Squadron’ is my next chariot. She is visiting from her home at the Swanage Railway. A loco I am very well acquainted with and adore!

78018 is next, her boiler ticket expires soon - so this weekend is probably my last chance to ride with her until she is overhauled. A gorgeous loco!

Standard 9F 92134 next, she’s running as 92043 this weekend in memory of a long since scrapped classmate which was a stalwart of the GCR area!

3809 running as No. 18 is my next chariot - I think she might have swapped diagrams with 68067 but in any case, a delight to have this loco for the first time!

I made a friend on the bus - I am definitely more of an animal person than I am a people person… might be my autism, or just how much I despair at humanity!
