Absolutely disgusting performance. 1st half defending been atrocious, Hume struggled, but unfair to just blame him, no control, no fight, desire, energy. 2nd half, playing for pride at best and would instantly get Talbi and Diarra on, need to offer something, anything lads. Good half tbh, people who said Palace were there for the taking, clearly underestimated them. But played some nice stuff 1st half, with a great team goal for Le Fée as well. Were we free flowing, carving out chance after chance? No. Did I expect us to be first game into AFCON? Also No. But we registered a higher xG and 2 more shots on target with only 2 fewer shots. We were better team 1st half, they were 2nd half, Brighton have only lost once at home, so thats good away point. They were always going to have a spell and we were well under it final 10mins, but for our 1st game into AFCON, some connections in attack to fix, and it's a positive performance. #SAFC

Took it down to the wire, but Bertrand Traore is in. Needed a winger anyway, but more so once Roberts had gone. Traore brings Prem experience with Aston Villa, and is a player who got 10 goals, 8 assists last season. For only £2.5M, this deal adds depth for a bargain price. Summer window done. #SAFC

Commend club, fast and efficient, decided on the Guiu recall, then moved quickly to get Brobby. Dutch international, had some standout seasons at Ajax, but seems to have lost his way, which we have a good track record for turning around, whilst adding experience Guiu lacked. 2 down, 1 to go. #SAFC

Geertruida is a Dutch international and brings experience from Germany and Holland and key versatility at RB and CB. Another quality signing on top of our quality window so far with more to come yet.
