NEW: On the first day of their 2026 session, Virginia House Dems advanced a resolution to put an amendment before voters to allow the legislature to pursue mid-cycle redistricting!  This is their first step in countering the GOP’s gerrymandering scheme.

This week, Rep.-elect Gisler defied expectations, flipping a deep red Trump district in Georgia in a special election for the state House! This win builds on state Dems’ momentum as we continue to overperform & flip red, blue, & purple districts all across the country.

Indiana Dems successfully led the fight to stop this GOP power grab. But make no mistake: Redistricting battles are far from over. State Dems must keep countering the actions of extreme Republicans who are rushing to rig maps to keep themselves in power.
