On another random note, I think my favorite performance from Paul Dano is in Looper. Even in a smaller supporting role he brings such tragedy to his character. Just finished this tome by the great Cameron Crowe. Like a Forrest Gump for 70s rock, he somehow managed to BE IN THE ROOM for so many seminal music moments that you’d hate him if he wasn’t so charming, self-deprecating and easy going. That’s likely how he GOT in the room. When’s his movie era book?
