I just went to empty the cat litter tray. Tray snaps in half, falls out of my hand, coating the hall, porch and front door mechanism in stinky cat litter. So when the shops open, I need to buy a new litter tray, and new filters for the vacuum cleaner. But other than that, everything is fine

More turntable stuff this morning. Did some vibration dampening on the plinth and under the deck. Cleaned all the old oil off and replaced it all, did the main bearing and both belts. Then some fine adjustment to the speed.

A laundertte that is also a social club, art gallery and gig place

Refurbishing my Dual 505-2 turntable. Removed the nasty black vinyl (which was peeling off anyway) and replaced it with real cherry veneer. Then gave it a big splat of caretakers. Very pleased, now it’s onto the turntable itself.
