Yesterday was the feast of St. Francis of Assisi, the Patron Saint of Animals. Our church had a pet blessing, but I could not get Clancy out of the car to join in with all the other pets. He's extremely shy. Fr. Chris came to my car and gave Clancy a special blessing while he huddled in my car.
