First proper dog walk in a few days due to illness/being away…picked a good morning for it

Well this week hasn’t gone as expected, household struck down with lurgy and unexpected whistle stop trip to Dublin tomorrow/Tuesday for a funeral.

Eldest boy came down with the lurgy on Xmas eve, seemingly likely that Russ and I are now following suit, both slowly deteriorating!

16k + steps already, on Boxing Day, what madness is this and dog will still want another walk later!

I know it’s had its issues but #strictly really is joyous…whether it will be quite the same again after this series is yet to be seen. But enjoyed this series.

We’ve done full early Xmas day today with S-I-L and niece as they’re away at actual Xmas, it’s been lovely! Proper Xmas dinner, kids made ginger bread houses, played games, did karaoke, mulled wine etc and still got the baileys to crack on with!
