Steel is vital for our economy and national security. It supports well-paid jobs across the country and is key to making our country greener. @communityunion.bsky.social report today provides a vision for how we can deliver a just transition to greener steel making and grow our industry.

Steel is and has always been vital to our economy. We must protect our domestic steelmaking capacity. Failing to do so would leave us as the only G7 country without it. The plan published today is a road map to make our steel greener while also protecting our national security.
