BEHOLD, the fruits of my labour! Sigh. Started on the upper-arm armour for #HobbyStreak day 409. Got the screen-right one blocked in and then got stuck in on the other... and then completely ruined it just as I thought I was getting it somewhere. So, scraped it clean and will try again tomorrow.

Back on the squiggles for #HobbyStreak day 408 and (probably) finishing the shin armour

Experimented with a few different options for #HobbyStreak day 403, but it always comes back to just pushing greenstuff around 😅 Not really trying to make anything specific, just general chaosy, Slaaneshy vibes

Reconstructed the missile launcher and gave all the various bits an initial basecoat for #HobbyStreak day 402 - pretty happy with how it's looking so far! I want to get some kind of carving/sculpting on the armour next... No idea how to start that!

Didn't get much time for #HobbyStreak day 401, but I managed to get the final layer of greenstuff on the missile-statue-thing - just need to carve it back once cured and reattach the missile rails

Did a little refinement on the missile hands for #HobbyStreak day 400, but mostly worked on finally plugging the princeps into their knight

Ok, now it feels like I'm onto something! Got the missile rails attached to the targeting system and embedded into the (rough start of a) sculptural thing that hopefully looks weird and Slaanesh-y Still a bunch to do, but already much happier with this over the previous attempt #HobbyStreak day 399

The amount of time I'm sinking into small parts of this project is very silly. For #HobbyStreak day 398 I built two sets of twin missile launch rails, which ultimately will get combined into a single system to represent the two Geiststrikes that should be mounted to the carapace.

Greenstuff sculpting/carving for #HobbyStreak day 397! Trying to emulate the unfinished stone around the couch's statues to help bring the derringer cannon more into theme. I also started salvaging the missiles; I have a plan, but too tired to fully figure it out today

I think I'm in danger of having converted myself into an corner with this project. Spent #HobbyStreak day 396 trying to figure out how to fit the twin desecrator cannon on and came up with this... thing. Now I think I want this on one shoulder and have both geiststrikes merged together on the other?

Dedicated #HobbyStreak day 395 to figuring out how to raise Geiststrike missiles enough to clear the decorations on the modified chassis... Here's my solution! Feels appropriate for the Lord hunter to have some trophy-based weapon systems

Leg day for #HobbyStreak day 393! I also realised I need to figure out a solution for at least one of the three carapace weapons... Oops

Focused on de-imperial-ising the reactors for #HobbyStreak day 392; decided to up the daemon-engine factor inline with the princeps and try to get faces pushing through the casing. Even sprayed it all to check my blends. They weren't great.

Adding some custom exhausts and the rest of the rear build for #HobbyStreak day 391 - I want to de-Imperial it a bit though

Sprayed the upper carapace to get a better look at my blends - Not bad! Then set about mounting the meltaguns and realised I'd messed up and the drapes were in the way 🤦‍♂️ So spent most of #HobbyStreak day 390 converting the gun mounts for a different location and then bending the "fabric" around them

For some reason I decided the underside of the... landing..? Whatever it is, really needed texturing and some more details. Also spent time refining my quick gap-filling to better blend the rough sections of the statues. #HobbyStreak day 389

Spent a lot of #HobbyStreak day 388 just sorting through bits trying to figure out my next step... Curtains! Also some progress to working out how to fit the meltaguns as I removed their little shield-mounts to fit the statues

Progress for #HobbyStreak day 387: Continued to work on the couch-carapace gap filling and starting to refine the shapes, and found a head that better fits the scale of this thing. Took a while to adjust the cuts, and it's not as large as I originally wanted, but I needed something elegant

Mixed bag for #HobbyStreak day 386: Roughed in some greenstuff to fill the big gaps so I have a base to better blend them once cured. Started playing with face options - the Sphinx head is much smaller than I thought. Then spent a bunch of unexciting time sorting bits boxes. Yay.

Starting to actually glue things in place for #HobbyStreak day 385, which is a relief because this was starting to feel more like whittling 😅 Still got a whole bunch of greenstuffing to do to probably blend these bits together, but the vision is real!

It doesn't look like anywhere near as much work done for #HobbyStreak day 384 as it was, but I got the couch better situated and figured out a way to get in the funny statues that hold up the... Shelf?

I enjoyed making that War Dog so much I felt confident enough to start a conversion for #HobbyStreak day 383 that I've had planned for a very long time... Still mostly dryfit as is my want, but it's coming together suspiciously well so far

Final details, a bit more weathering, finishing the base, and my custom War Dog Executioner is finished for #HobbyStreak day 382! As with many of conversions it didn't end up where I'd thought, but I'm still really happy with it. Just need to wait for varnishing weather now.

Worked on the rest of the base for #HobbyStreak day 381 and I think I'm almost finished, another weathering pass over the legs and base should do it?

Started work on the base for #HobbyStreak day 380, mostly just layering colours to see what kind of stone-ish effect I can get on the facade

First weathering pass in for #HobbyStreak day 379, mostly focused on the armour plates to break up the colours and make it look more renegade

I think I've finished working out the overall scheme, and got a first pass of details on the loot pile, for #HobbyStreak day 378. Definitely need to add a bunch of weathering to move it away from looking too loyalist

Continuing to pick at different areas, mostly focusing on the main chassis scheme for #HobbyStreak day 377. I think I'm figuring out this sponge-stippling technique too, although I don't have quite got the right colour mix here - plenty of tidyup needed as well

Sprayed and started painting the new Executioner for #HobbyStreak day 375! Going to give sponge-stippling a try for the painted sections of armour on this one

Puttin' junk in dat trunk for #HobbyStreak day 374, which I think is the last bit of modelling on this thing? Feeling pretty pleased with the profile shape!

Spent #HobbyStreak day 373 completely reworking my whole stowage platform idea; much happier with this! Even started adding some loot and finally glued the main guns on too

Finally got around to catching up on some Warhammer TV and the Harvest episode of Tithes is so good, but mostly I love this moment with Tyrith meeting the White Templars... Awww, look at da widdle spaise muhreens! I'd always thought the Custodes minis felt a bit stumpy, but look at the difference!

Quick one for #HobbyStreak day 372: added more cracks and damage to the facade and then, finally, pinned the weirdo to its base! Now it won't constantly be in danger of falling on its face

Just focused on the base for #HobbyStreak day 371, added paving stones with a curb to delineate a roadway that the facade has fallen across

Decided the War Dog was looking a bit too... Loyalist. So it's off to Chaos it we go with some traditional Warhammer decorations! I also started on the base for #HobbyStreak day 370 while I mull over the loot stowage

Spent #HobbyStreak day 369 trying different ways to add stowage to the Dog and this net / mesh / cage / thing is the best so far (not pictured, all the failed versions)... Of course, it still needs loot to fill it

Reshaping and detailing the right side for #HobbyStreak day 368; ultimately I want to build out some kind of cargo cage or something to the back... No idea how though

Ok, adding more pieces and actually attaching things for #HobbyStreak day 367! I did have a fun exhaust, but I forgot to check the leg placing so that had to come off... Which is really why I'm gluing the bits I have on so I don't do that again

Spent #HobbyStreak day 366 removing the lower autocannon hardpoints and adjusting the pivot mounts so it looks like the ball moves independently of the chassis. Then started on details, most of which are still dryfit like the guns and legs so it's easier to get in and make other big adjustments

My custom build War Dog Executioner is starting to take shape for #HobbyStreak day 365 (one year, that snuck up on me)! It's so forward heavy, but I kind of love it; feels reminiscent of the old Epic Chaos Knights, but I'll probably try and balance it a bit.

I think I've got the hip connection sorted out! Started making cuts for #HobbyStreak day 364 and retrofitting the War Dog waist pieces to the ammo carriers (?) of the Araknae. Still got a bunch of filling to do but I think this was the major piece to solve
