The Game Awards are always bullshit. It lacks transperancy in every aspect. The whole "you vote" thing is just done to make you feel like you did something. The games that win awards have probably already been decided. The only reason Silksong and Hades 2 are there is because they are popular.

I swear so many Metroid Fans completely dismiss Metroid Prime 3 and why it works so well. Especially in some sections where you feel isolation. It is mostly because it's a contrast to the safety of the federation territory that those sections truly shine.

I think the only Pokémon Gen that is not fully up to par in my opinion is gen 9. I am just now reminded how much I lived X&Y and even the alola games. I even found something worthwhile in Sword and Shield.

After sitting almost 5 months on it now I can safely say: Switch 2 is my favourite console ever. Just everything about it feels just great. The console has been played almost every day. The look and feel of the console is amazing and having games at high fidelity is crazy good.
