This is the first big project I did based off paintings. This one took a couple years as I was mainly quilting at the time.

Made a bit of progress. All these people are a pain. Just like I'm real life.

My sister and I got this bouncy horse as a gift when I was about 1. My parents have kept it for over 50 years. Earlier this year part of the framing broke and couldn't be fixed. Instead of letting him throw it away, I had an idea. I can't explain how tickled I am with Frank being in my garden.

While I was watering plants this morning, I found some bees enjoying my native roses.

Had a visitor in my garden this morning! I was concerned that there was a nest because the dog goes out in the backyard, but the little guy hopped through out chain link fence, so I'm guessing he came from outside. Hopefully he had a nice snack.

Here's my basement sewing/junk room. Excuse the mess. Years ago, I wanted a sewing cabinet for my machine, but they are so expensive. So my husband made me this one using a solid wood door and banquet table legs! And those shelves in the background are from a video rental place.

I think I got a good thing going with this. I almost never use patterns when I'm making a quilt. Sometimes my ideas work out. Sometimes not. I had five ideas for this and none of them panned out. #quilt #BigFoot

While I wait for my bloodied knuckles to heal, I thought I'd try finally doing something with this sweet Big Foot panel.

My town has a theatre built in the 1920s that has been refurbished. Today, I took my kid to see Raiders of the Lost Ark. It was nice to watch a movie where the Nazis were obviously the bad people, and when they lost everyone cheered. #Raiders #TempleTheatre

I made a lot of progress the last few days. Hooray! Almost done with the trees! Been busy at work so I haven't been on the interwebs a lot. I just spent about four minutes reading the news, and had to switch back to looking at everyone's craft projects to soothe my weary soul.

Cross-stitched for about five hours today. I really need to clean the house, but you know how it goes.

A little more filled in this morning. It was in the fifties the other day here in Michigan, and this morning I saw some snow! I'm ready for spring, and not this back and forth.

Started on page 9. Getting tired of green! But I can look forward to working on some sky soon. I'm trying to keep everything filled in as I go so I don't lose my place. #crossstitch #SundayAfternoon #somuchgreen

Finished up my quilt this morning. I always use a vintage sheet in the back. Now to decide what to do next.

Here's my last two cross stitch projects. Still have to get them framed. I never seem to have the extra cash, so I have about six or seven rolled up in my drawer.

Finished up page 8 on my cross stitch. Only 42 more to go. Taking a little break to get a quilt quilted and bound. I have a stack of quilt tops I'm trying to complete this year. I always say I won't start a new one until the last one is completely finished, but it never works out that way.

So close! If only I didn't have to go to work.
