At this point in time I’m just thinking why do we even WANT to give konate a new contract. Compare it with Salah and Virgil last year, he’s hardly earnt it.

In the 1st 6 Games in all competitions we scored first and won all 6 of them. From the palace game onwards we’ve conceded first 10 out of 12 games. We’ve comeback to win once(at Frankfurt) won the two games we scored first and lost the 9 games we conceded first. It’s more than setbacks but wow.

We conceded 41 goals last season in the league. Admittedly 9 were after we won the league so maybe it’s hard to say how many we would have conceded in the last 4 games against Brighton (a) Arsenal (h) Chelsea(a) and palace (h) but the cracks were there. When we conceded first last year we came back.
