Good night innernets. (Wonton & Tortellini)

Bath time for Zephyr - and dinner time for Daphne and Zeus. (Pandora and Cassandra were over under the cat tree, I think.)

Four of the five kittens are playing in the "nest"... where's the fifth (Zephyr)? Why, he's eating, of course. I wonder if Calliope knew when she moved the kittens how soon she was going to have to share her food!

Now that the kittens are out of the crate, they're learning that they can just walk to where the milk bar is when they're hungry. I suspect that in the days to come, the milk bar will flop down further and further from the nest.

Not only did Calliope move the kittens out of the crate (to the other side of the room) yesterday, but ALSO I walked into the room to see Zephyr bellied up to Calliope's plate of canned food - and actually EATING it. And THEN he used the litter box. TWICE!

Pandora and Daphne are hanging out under the cat tree where Calliope spent most of her pregnancy hanging out! They're not sure what they think of it, but I bet they'll learn to love it.

The kittens are OUT of the crate... but don't be too impressed. Calliope moved them, one by one, from the crate to the opposite corner of the room in the middle of the night. I guess she was tired of waiting for them to come out, too!

Pierogi and Wonton hanging out with (or at least NEAR) Uncle Charlie.

First kitten out of the crate - but not for long! Came out, said "What a dump!" and stomped back in.

Whoever guessed Daphne was going to be the first one out of the crate, please come claim your bragging rights! She came out, looked around, said "Meh" and went right back in. But now we know they can come out when they want to! (There'll be a video up later.)

Throw Back Thursday: This video of Sebastian (Bash) from a year ago, having his last bottle, is the SWEETEST. He was 10 weeks old before he decided he was done with the bottle, but when he was done, he was DONE. I'm glad I happened to catch it on video.

Throw Back Thursday: A year ago I was posting about Bash (left) and Margarita being available for adoption, and this reminds me that I need to get out the giant glasses for upcoming photo opportunities. (Bash and Margarita were adopted together and they're Jed & Daisy now!)

I love how Zeus turned around to look at me. "I sees you, lady."

I poked Zephyr, and he rolled over, ready to fight.

Cassandra has an orange chin strap! Who knew? Also, the kittens have everything they need IN the crate, why would they ever come out?

"This is a good box, lady." Pierogi on top, Wonton inside.

They ain't never coming out of that crate, is what I think. (And Calliope COULD NOT care less. Neither could the kittens. I'm the only one who caaaares.)

"Come out of the crate? I THINK NOT." Well, you take your time, Daphne. 🙄

A Wonton and his fish, hanging out on the couch. As you do.

"Let me out! LET ME OUT!" says Zephyr in this picture that I took through the wide open crate door directly to his right.

I started tossing ping pong balls for Tortellini and Wonton, and Uncle Magoo got involved. Tortellini can SPROING! up in the air like nobody's business.

Oh good, the bucket of Pierogi I ordered has arrived.

The kittens are biting butts, practicing their walking skills, and having the occasional zoomie. Something for everyone!

A few people have asked how I can tell Zeus (left) and Daphne apart. He's bigger than she is, and his fur is longer and has a bit of curl. He has a crease across his nose. And she's got a bit of white on either side of her nostrils (also not obvious in pictures.)

Please hold tight, snooperviser Tortellini is on her way to make sure you're doing that correctly.

A short clip of the milk bar with newborn kittens, and now at 3 weeks old. They are healthy, chonky little babies!
