my dnd character died the true death tonight. this is the first time it's happened to me, and i'm surprised to find i'm feeling actual grief for a pink cowboy bugman that only existed in the imaginations of six people.

i am not happy about having a litter box in my bathroom, aka the room i'm most likely to be barefoot in, but it's the compromise i made with tesla a week ago so he'd stop pissing in my closet. tesla is now making good peeing choices about 98% of the time.

my friend got evicted and will be moving in with me very soon. i'm worried about having a housemate for the first time in 3 years, and about how adding two more cats to the household will affect tofu and tesla.

wiggles and tesla peacefully shared my lap for twenty whole minutes! i wouldn't count it as cuddling, since it was just butt-to-butt contact (aka 'the moonlanding') but it's the culmination of 1.5 years of work and i'm so proud of them both!
