Super Mario Bros 2/USA is one of my all-time favorite games. It was one of the first games I ever owned. Sometimes, if I am feeling particularly salty, I rate it as the #1 Mario game (but not all the time.) I really hope there's merch/toys related to it now. Wart is so cool.

One of the more pleasant dreams I had last night was that I wrote a children's book about a crocodile that adopted a baby bird. The bird lived in her mouth and sometimes used a toothbrush to clean his mother's teeth.

Good lord, these things taste fuckin rancid. I hate throwing out food though, so I'll have to take awful nibbles of it over the course of many days until I can wash this container out and display it with the rest of my Mario collection.

Pokemon memory: I never liked the games. My late little brother did though. I drove him to get Mew during that special event thing and he was very happy about that. Later he also discovered he could've just got him by using the Game Genie, but that didn't feel as special to him. Miss ya, big guy.

Link's Awakening remains my favorite Zelda game. I've replayed it the most. Despite having a GB Color and GB Printer, I only played the DX version many years later. I just love this weird, funny, bittersweet little experience. No other Zelda game comes close. #Zelda40

Plenty of Wii games have been rereleased. Motion games are still around... but one game you can never get again because it was digital only. I am talking about Muscle March. Please bring that one back.

I believe it was the late 90s when I first beat Zelda. Since then I have beaten it multiple times and memorized it (very intuitive design though) The last time I beat it in one sitting, my late brother was watching me via Nintendo Switch Online with the little clapping hands thing.

By the time I finally got to play this game it was 1990, but I didn't care because I was still very invested in it. At the end of 1990, we would get Super Mario Bros 2 and 3 and then my life would be all about that. I still tried to get a little farther in Zelda each time though. #TheLegendOfZelda

ya know, the first time I saw this game it really shocked me. Super Mario Bros was hot and new, and every other video game felt so basic. I was used to Atari-style stuff before then. Zelda comes out and it's BIG. I had never seen a video game with such a large map littered with so many secrets.

idea: a chatty game with a dedicated SHUT UP button. Every time the characters start talking too much and getting annoying you press the SHUT UP button and they sulk away.

There should be a life sim like Animal Crossing but less restrictive about how you put things in your house. With how advanced video game systems are now I think you should be able to stack a bunch of furniture into a room, just jam/wedge things in tight, or even make a pile like a hoarder.

I beat all the cups in Mario Kart World! (on 50cc.)

Grabbed some loose amiibo for cheap so I can use them in games. There was a pink wooly yoshi that was even cheaper, but upon closer inspection it was DIRTY and cleaning a wool amiibo would be a nightmare.

Okay I got ALL the coins in every level. I am DONE with this game! I still enjoyed most of it though. The timer and shadow mario levels were tedious and should be chucked out a window.

Finally, after four years of saving all my Amazon gift cards... Now I can play Doonkey Koong Bo-nana-zah.
