When making my Tomodachi people I try to avoid just using the paint tool until necessary. I want them to have moving eyes and mouths if possible. It's a lot more fun to manipulate Mii features in this game vs previous games though.

retro games are 20+ years old and vintage games are 40+ years old. In the late 90s/00s we called NES games retro, but that was because the home video game market was still new. It's over 50 years old now, and we can start treating it like other legacy industries.
