I like San Diego but sometimes I miss LA. I was only there (and actually in the SGV, not LA proper) for a year and a half or so, but it was one of the best times of my life.

Perfect Friday night. Roomie and I just got super high and now I’m laying in bed eating chocolate and watching ACFC vs. Portland.

The world is burning and everything is awful, but at least NWSL soccer is back 🤷🏼‍♀️

I desperately need out of this job where I’m forced to answer the phone for four hours straight because I t’s putting me into autistic burnout SO fast.

Two coworkers noticed me moving stiffly today and asked if I was okay and I’m too tired to mask so I said no and that it really sucks being disabled sometimes.

I miss working with competent people whose company I enjoy.

If anyone has tips for getting workplace accommodations for autism w/o an official diagnosis (because I am scared I’ll need to leave the country and don’t want to jeopardize my ability to do so) please let me know. I’m rapidly approaching burnout but desperately need this job/insurance.

I am so glad it’s Friday. Work has been hellacious lately and I can’t wait until I’ve gotten the healthcare I need taken care of so I can leave and hopefully not be yelled at by patients ever again in my life.

Every single person in this office is crossing their fingers that the resident Old White Man who does nothing but complain and make mistakes and be rude to callers whose first language isn’t English will follow through on his threats to retire.

My very first jury summons is tomorrow and I’m nervous but also fairly certain I won’t be selected given my views on…everything. Also I’m taking my white cane so my disability will be super visible. At the very least it’s a day away from work 🤷🏼‍♀️

Here’s my work in progress painting. It’s been years since I’ve simultaneously had the time, money, and space to do it, so it’s been a fun relearning process over the past few months.

The world may be burning but my boss messed up our scheduled assignments for the day, which means I get out of answering the phones this afternoon. It’s the little things.

Having to sit through an hour long employee satisfaction survey follow up meeting (a survey I joined too late to participate in) is a special kind of hell.

So, uh, which countries will take in those of us who are increasingly in danger here in the US?

I’m turning 37 in two days & all I want is a remote job and a girlfriend.
