Then Desiree messaged: German, modelling to fund her travels. Shoot today, gone tomorrow. I took the leap. Clueless, clumsy - but hooked

This image is from the tailend of one of my favorite shoots, in Barcelona. Working in my dimly-lit apartment, Eva (now retired) was a bit late. We got the golden light off the street as the sun set, but were soon left in the dark. So we made do with a single lamp, and this skull we found on the wall
