I loved this prequel of Daniel Hurst's The Doctor's Wife series. It really complimented the series as a whole. Daniel's writing style is excellent; his ability to spin the thriller and suspense, even when aware of what happens next, is a feat to behold. Enjoyed this so much! #booksky

Five stars because it was heart-wrenching which evoked so many emotions of sadness. I know it is only loosely based on William Shakespeare's child and life, but I think it's a great likeness to the sadness of losing a child to pestilence and just an emotional literary piece. #booksky
