I publish boardgames. Been doing it for 10 years now. But in my heart I will always be a guy who would rather play D&D 6 days out of the week and twice on Sunday. Still love boardgames, but spelunking ancient ruins and battling ogres will always be more fun for me.

Picked this up on a recommendation. Comparisons to Stephen King are accurate. Very accurate. Including the story kind of falling apart at the end. Still enjoyable and kept me wanting to find out how it ended. Burned through it in a couple of days.

Told my 13 year old son goodnight and gave him a hug and his forehead kiss like I have been doing all of his life. As I left his room, he said "you wanna play a boardgame tomorrow night dad?" "You bet" Fuck you stress, pain and heartache. You lost today, and you are gonna lose tomorrow too.

Every so often, when I am out in the world by myself, usually running an errand, I get this quick short jab of hyper reality where for a moment, I feel like the world around me isn't working the way it should, and that everyone else is just pretending to be real. Thankfully, only for a moment.

It is my dad's 80th birthday today. When I was 9, I begged him to play D&D with me. He finally agreed. He went into the first room, killed some hobgoblins, and found 500 gold pieces. He immediately left the dungeon and retired.

I am new to this whole weird place, but if you think I should follow you, let me know. I like the outdoors, dogs, cats, aquariums, American football, baseball, and I work in the boardgame industry. I also had a relatively interesting Youtube Channel about boardgames too.
