Shenmue 2 is so, so good man. I love how much more of an adventure it feels in comparison to 1, and giving Ryo a proper comedic foil makes the second half of the game such a fun ride. I love how martial arts are depicted as an art, with Ryo sharing moves with masters & vice versa.

Listening to the Nier soundtrack and I can’t believe it’s taken me this long to realize Emil’s shop song in Automata is just his Replicant theme but upbeat That feeling of being let in on a running joke just never stops lol

Beat Killer7 again. I still only somewhat understand what the plot is about, and a lot of the finer nuance is still kind of lost on me, but god if that ending didn’t get me emotional all the same. Extraordinary game, really need to look into that book that goes over the cut plot details.

The Cloudman level of Killer7 still rips, maybe one of my favourite levels in any game ever. I don't quite understand how it ties in with the rest of the game or its themes but Ulmeyda is a really charismatic character for how little time he has & I love a game with a slightly weird fucked up town.

Started replaying Killer7 as a companion piece to/break from Michigan Report From Hell, and Jesus these games are night and day lol. I maintain that Killer7 is still one of the most stylish and stylistic games I’ve ever played, even stuff as simple as the sound effects are burned into my mind.

Hi-Fi Rush is the most aggressively fun game I've played in a while, feels like every element from gameplay to visuals to audio come together perfectly to make it feel so, so good to play. Really, really funny too, it's the exact kind of stupid humour I adore.

My greatest misery of being an artist (besides all the other miseries) is knowing I’ll never make a design as good as Ashiok’s from MTG. They are seriously one of my favourite ever character designs, really hope the product showcase implying they’re appearing in Strixhaven is legit

God the Fallout S2 finale was good, it concluded really satisfyingly while still having so much to do in the next season onwards. There're so many questions I have and I can't wait to see where they all go from here.

Watching a video on all the bugged perks in Fallout New Vegas and it is a miracle this game is as good as it is because Jesus Christ the number of mechanics that don’t quite work or fully don’t work as intended probably outnumber the things that work totally fine

Next week's Fallout episode cannot come soon enough, I've been waiting all season for this.

Seeing all my stuff physically wiped from the menu hurt a lot more than i expected especially my fish, i worked hard to find those (Ending D hit me hard, god that was painful and sad)

I think I caught up to Fallout S2 at the worst time because while that last episode was probably my favourite of the season I’m now dying to know what happens from here. I also feel so dumb that I didn’t immediately clock “Future Enterprise Ventures” as FEV, that shit was so obvious in hindsight lol

Finished Season 1 of Fallout, it’s really incredible that they’re able to balance 5 or 6 different plot lines and each one is equally compelling and supports the others so well. Though any scene with The Ghoul/Cooper is a better scene for it, he’s such a compelling and endlessly entertaining figure.
