Some wanted and unwanted specimens this weekend. While scrying the wash for agates, I found a rattlesnake as well, I kept my distance as he retreated into this bush, I then left after taking a picture, going to be honest, I was confident it was too cold out for them, they were very slow moving.

Some call it jasper hill. I loved exploring this mountain, I was only able to look around it's south facing side, and I found a lot of formations and mineral veins, definitely will be going back soon to gather more. #hounding #jasper #mountain #rockhounding #subaru #outback #onyxXT #jasperhill

Biased on my current understanding, this is a black agate. A lot of the host material was very soft, things changed abruptly when I hit the darker sections of the stone. If you know what stone this is, feel free to comment! It was found near jawbone and Red Rock CA. #art #rocks #faceted #gems
