With friends like these who needs enemies! I hope no one is fooled by Trumpâs using antisemitism as an excuse to attack academic freedom and to go after Muslims. Rather than making the country safer for Jews he is doing the exact opposite.

Heather Cox Richardsonâs been going on about how the Ukraine drone attack is a game changer in warfare. Really it was just the Trojan Horse ploy. They hid the drones in prefab housing being shipped into Russia.

The news this morning said today is the 50th anniversary of "the fall of Saigon". The fall of what? You mean Reunification Day as they celebrate it in Vietnam? It made me wonder what they call American Independence Day in England? Ungrateful colonist rebellion day? Perspective is everything.

Here in western Oregon most drives are generally courteous. But there are occasional angry MAGAts in their big pickup trucks trying to run you off the road. They don't even know why they're angry. They just see a cyclist and assume you're a liberal and therefore to blame for all their problems.

I had a lovely bike ride today despite two drivers trying to run me off the road. It made me realize MAGAts are still angry. They won, the got their man and heâs doing all the awful things they want, but a lone cyclist on a country road is still a threat to them.

I verified some of my friends using this. It was not working all that great at resolving handles. However if I looked up their DID first it would work with that.

I'm pretty sure Trump's goal is to crash the economy, and bring suffering and hardship upon his followers, just so he can get the pleasure of seeing them continue to make excuses for him and grovel at his feet.

Are we all part alien? I'm a big sci-fi fan. Much of today's reality was the realm of sci-fi not that very long ago. So I really enjoy when I see a new study that lines up with something I remember from a sci-fi book or show.

's interview from SXSW was truly inspiration, but unfortunately well over the head of the average social media user. Only a tiny minority of social media users will ever be able to host their own PDS or build their own feeds. How can we create an environment that works for everyone?

Once again it's important to remember that everything Trump does in front of the cameras is just a smokescreen to take the focus off of what's really going on. Now that the world is so outraged about his disgraceful treatment of Zelenski, less attention is being paid to Musk robbing us blind.
