For twice during the last two weeks, I've come across an artist promoting something they've made on YouTube. I'm quickly sold, and wish to buy it. Except they don't link to it ANYWHERE. Not in the description, comments, profile... Why when you have done all this other work, would you skim on this?!

"Absurd things delivered so sincerely it breaks you to pieces" gotta be one of my favorite genres of internet media.

As part of my process to wean myself off algorhitmic content, I deleted my Reddit account last week after 5+ years. Not sure if any social media is "good", but I'm gonna now focus on BlueSky and Discord - places where I can better control what's served to me and hopefully have actual discussions.

Are there any magazines aimed at game developers? I was browsing at my library and noticed couple of "DIY" magazines with tutorials and articles about building and fixing stuff. Would love to subscribe to something similar for game dev, especially the technical and programming side.

After putting about 60 hours into Silksong and reaching 2/3 into Act 2, I feel like I have to call it quits.
