We saw 28 Years Later yesterday. It was awful. Also I think my auditory sensitivity and general annoyance levels have gotten too high to go to movies. Hearing loud annoying sounds and not being able to fast forward through them is a mild torture.

Things I did and did not get at the thrift store today. Didn't get: embroidered linen dress and aunt Jackie from Roseanne shirt. Did get: $15 (sale) unworn looking suede hush puppy shoes.

Reading the 3rd 4th Wing Onyx Storm. There's very little setting. A main reason why I drop off a series. Just because we know the world does not mean it's okay to stop setting scenes. I'm picturing characters in blank space. What was the weather? Was the castle dusty? Where are the scenes happening?

I enjoyed the hell out of the new Hunger Games book overall with the exception of the end when it turned into too much rhyming poetry. Listened on audiobook and maybe all of the books had a lot of rhyming song lyric type sections that I just skipped over reading so I don't remember 😄

I cannot overstate how excited I am to make this giant velvet worm.

I went to the fabric store today and unsurprisingly I did not find one sparkly fabric that I wanted to put on my body. I think a sweater would be too much time pressure now. I pivoted and decided to make a python-sized velvet earthworm to carry around my shoulders and be "Bella, look it's a worm!"

The dark green gauze fabric I have isn't enough to make the dress I was thinking of and the color is sold out, so I need to come up with a new idea 🙃✨. What would you wear to a fancy theater to see Twilight with a live orchestra?

Went with a warm medium brown for the in between colors on my sweater vest. Other photo is other Zoe's version which I extra love with the fine wool. I'm allergic to wool and wanted to do chunky to be able to crochet it fast but dang her version is gorgeous

Really considering getting the Twilight Lego set. I wonder if they'll release poor Esme, Emmett, Jasper and Rubixcube in the future. Though I get that in this version Jacob having long hair and it being Twilight Rummagesale didn't exist yet.

I've got sensitive ears and can't wear in-ear buds for too long or big outer ear headphones that squish my ears. So I got these retro airplane looking but bluetooth ones and I love them.

Going to work on sewing this corduroy chore jacket this weekend. Pretty happy with the way this double pocket came out. Though it has illuminated an issue with sewing corduroy with stretch as it was hard to keep the fabric from stretching out when sewing across. Had to use some gluestick.
