Capital's decision to dispose of Welsh language programmes and music from Capital Cymru is a huge loss for audiences in north Wales. The mix of mainstream pop and Welsh songs with a distinct voice is unique and leaves a lingusitically precarious audience with no option but turn to English.

This is a must-listen, and an antidote to the dread I've felt over the past few days about the staggering shitification of the public space by Elon Musk.

One thing I really like here is the feed organisation. I don't like following lots of accounts, and don't like retweets, so the OnlyPosts (no RTs) feed is amazing, and the Followers feed allows me to dip into what the people who follow me are saying without having to follow them back.

Reading about the international cornichon market, after spotting that my jar of delectable crunchy cucs, were from India and packed in Poland. It was a pretty bad summer for India even though the crop was good, supply chain bottlenecks meant the farmers prioritised exports over locals ☺️

I think I know why I like Bluesky now and why I liked early Twitter. A loose communication cluster of enough people I like (prob around 50), where there's no pressure to be on message, no "audience", no "brand". I'm just freely sharing some stuff with no thought of likes or interaction.
