Thought about trying to get back to Cannes this year, glad I decided against it. Which is not to say there won’t be some terrific films in that lineup—I’m sure there will—but only Farhadi truly excites me on paper. (Nemes would’ve been another had I not so recently been bored stiff by ORPHAN.)

Saw a passing reference to this Amazon Prime kids’ show and assumed it was a joke but it was not a joke. It is an actual show that (very briefly) existed.
