Had the honor of being a part of Rebelle 8 BETA group. Here are some experimental sketches I did with the new bristle brushes from Rebelle 8 Pro.

Can't believe this painting was made in 2022. Since then, 6 practice chapters and 1 full book of my manhua have been made. 3 years, much has changed. I'm waiting for Rebelle 8 to come out so I can utilize the new engine for the new painting on streams. Currently using Rebelle 7 to do underpainting.

It's really hard to combat depression from social media. I'm glad I got into comic way later on life. I feel like I'd give up so much faster had I been younger and less mature coping with the negativity I feel from posting on these platforms.

SFX in Eng has been an experience. Over the years, I'd created a ton of assets for my manhua. There were more failures than successes, but it's satisfying to inch closer to my desired looks. Sometimes they were so close, I changed a few things, and it all fell apart 😂 I then get frustrated and put off tweaking them for months, haha.

I'm really envious of comic artists who know what pages to share. I feel like 2 pages ago would be ancient history, new page is spoiler territory, any single panel is not worth sharing without context, and sharing the same panels again and again says "I have no new content" LOL 🤣 It's so hard!!

This is entirely out of curious and not for market research or anything like that: ❔What social media platform do you guys use the most❔ You don't have to like the platform, more like... which one do you find yourself opening the most often? I noticed I open IG the most, still 🙃.

Yesterday marked the closure of my Etsy shop 💖 600 sales, what a feat! Thank you to every single person who has purchased my art, it's been a fantastic journey. I closed it as I'm no longer interested in selling fanart and wish to focus on my IP. The future is uncertain, but my heart feels light.

I've been quiet on social lately as I was in Taiwan for 3 weeks! I couldn't really draw while I was there, so I spent all of the time on designing a website to house all of the manhua related info. The website is almost done! My friend even coded a reader for me so I can host the comic! 😭🙏

I feel like I've lost all of the motivation to post anything. I'm still working day and night but I just don't feel like sharing anymore. I don't know how to overcome it.

<Draft to finish> Funny thing about comic is that I have no time to appreciate the hurdles I've overcome. Once I finish struggling with a page, it disappeares into the narrative and new struggles are to be faced for the story to move forward.
