Question for y’all who watch Twitch: do you prefer follow notifications to be anonymous? My preference as a streamer and a viewer is to make it known, so I can interact, but I realise that’s not for everyone. Should it be a cheap channel point redeem for those who want to be acknowledged?

I struggle with the notion that to be a "successful streamer" I have push for growth and build a community. I don't want a Discord. I don't want to make content for other platforms. I want to play my games and chat with people. I'm happier being a member of others' communities than running my own.

Last week I revisited Wonder Boy in Monster Land. I didn't get to see the rest of the series back in the day, but I really want to now. Not sure if the rest have a major side quest that makes the end easier, but is hidden/obtuse 😅 My old ass can't remember all of the steps in that quest anymore.

Birthday week is a wrap. 33 hours of streams, including a 17 hour marathon. 20 of my all-time favourite games played. So many friends showing up to celebrate and support throughout the week. I'm enjoying Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater because of the underlying game, not because of any of the modernisations or improvements they have tried to add. It is not a polished product. It's on par with Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster in a lot of ways.

Day's just beginning, but already keen to get home to play MGS Delta: Snake Eater tonight.
