UPDATE: I think I’ve finally settled on a series name for this WIP that I’m happy with. “Kamigoye”, meaning “To Surpass God”. Not just because the main characters are incarnations/avatars of a different heavenly Kami, but it’s a metaphor as well. (1/??)

I struggle a lot with Trans Day of Remembrance because of the mass shooting here at a TDoR gathering a few years back. But I think a lot about Vera Blossom's prayers for all trans girls: to survive, to love, to find happiness. And I repeat them myself every year at this time.

I’m not promoting smoking, but I do enjoy a tobacco pipe while writing. Some of my favourite scenes were written while peering through a thin wisp of smoke. It helps me channel my inner Tolkien. I find it particularly helpful in tavern scenes lol.
