Bought a copy of Sword so I can double hunt with Shield and replaying it and man, it’s crazy these got labeled as the “bad looking” Pokemon games. The Wild Area is pretty rough, but most other towns and routes are gorgeous. (The OST has a load of bangers too)

Sometimes I forget a lot of the tiny QOL changes in Pokemon until I go back to an older game, even a single generation ago. I’m so used to the auto pickup for sparkling objects in Z-A I forget you have to manually press A in SV, and then SwSh makes you go through a text box for every sparkling item

I think the DLC confirmed it, but Legends ZA might just be the best Pokemon game when it comes to involving the strong “gym leader” type characters in the plot and giving them extra content outside of their story battles.

It’s American Thanksgiving, and I’m thankful for this cool shiny hunting community I can be a part of. I’m pretty shit at making friends, but it’s cool to have some fellow Pokemon fans with a shared interest.

Doing bench resets just outside zone 18, after around 300 I decided to go check the bugs nearby and got shiny alpha Kakuna! Helps with my current goal of a shiny mega dex. (Then while taking pictures a shiny Weedle sparkled lol)

Good lord is climbing the ranked ladder so much more enjoyable in this game compared to previous Pokemon games, at least for me personally. (Probably because there’s not as much strategy involved so I can just slam my head against it until I win lol)
