End of Month 1, Legends Arceus complete! Very fun game to complete the dex in. Only real sticking points were some Distortion exclusive Pokemon, but even the wisps were better than expected. Kinda surprised the reward isn’t Arceus, but since it can be hunted in BDSP, enamored makes sense.

Time for another odd Legends Arceus visual bug I got Space Time Distortion started forming, but the visual of the distortion bubble didn’t appear at all. (It returned to normal when the distortion formed proper)

But what if it could get, darker than Darkrai? Somehow managed to start a battle in the Darkrai encounter and it turned pitch black? Mega Darkrai confirmed?

On to Arceus! This game is a treat, and it’s been a while since I’ve played it, so I’m eager to play through and complete the dex again

End of Day 21/Week 3 Finished with BDSP! Only 150 for this dex, but the more traditional capture system and certain rare pokemon makes this slower than LGPE Manaphy isn’t that high on my list of favorite shinies, but I have no plans to hunt it in gen 4, so I’ll take it here. Total: 884/2165

End of Day 14/Week 2 SwSh is done! Today was just grabbing the few remaining version exclusives in Shield, doing the trade evos, and wrapping up any loose ends. Can’t say I have too much attachment to Keldeo, but I do quite like its shiny. SwSh: 584/584 Total: 734/2165

I go into literally every Direct with the mindset of “it’ll probably be mostly stuff I don’t care about, maybe there’ll be a few games that interest me and one or two big reveals” and I’m almost never disappointed. The people who complain every single time have a skill issue tbh

Replayed most of Crown Tundra for the first time since it came out and ngl, it still slaps. I’m sorta mixed on base SwSh as a whole, but the dlc really does a good job at expanding on the open world formats and giving interesting legendary plots

Every new weird little guy in Rhythm Heaven extends my lifespan by 5 years

Day 7/Week 1 Down! Not much to say, just finished the postgame, and I’ve been running around with a bag full of quick balls catching everything I see. The Pokédex recommendations are a very nice feature for this, giving me targets and boosting their encounter rates SwSh: 209/584 Total: 359/2165

Funny how Sordward was only a single generation too early to have a Kingambit, which also has a giant sword on the top of its head, instead of Bisharp

End of Day 6 Beat Sword today, I caught a lot as I went, but I wanted to save the big grind for after the main story. I feel like this Dex will be pretty light on evolving/breeding since so many pokemon are already catchable in the wild SwSh: ~118/584 Total: 268/2165

Biggest feature from old pokemon games they need to bring back: LET US REARRANGE MOVES DURING BATTLE WITH THE SELECT BUTTON AGAIN Doing it out of battle in the summary screen is fine, but sometimes I really want to switch them during battle, and then I instantly forget once battle ends.

End of Day 4, first game down! Meltan is probably the shiny I’m least interested in for this challenge (since I already have some from GO) but this game is so quick to complete it didn’t feel tedious at all. LGPE: 150/150 Total: 150/2164

Had a dream the next Mario game was revealed. It was called “Super Mario is No Longer Bald” it had a weird claymation style (looked a lot like Hylics) and you could play as Tenna Deltarune

This game’s kinda neat but they removed the statue spam maze before the league 0/10

Man, almost forgot this cameo was in this game. Love it as an Alola fan, but makes me kind of sad we don’t have as many cameos of returning characters in the Switch games. Outside of Ingo in LA and a few XY characters in LZA most cameos have just been minor name drops.
