Darko Rajakovic says Scottie Barnes was playing through pain throughout the game (from Tues quad contusion), and that went into rotation choices (31min), particularly the 4th stretch without Barnes and Ingram (and Quickley)

At least two made threes in three straight games by Jamal Shead. Just second time in career he's done that in a three-game stretch (once last season early on).

Stephon Castle is an awesome player, but have to note he has an air-ball free throw at two-point attempt tonight. Don't see that every day.

Wol-stat of the day: Immanuel Quickley averages 18 points on 47.5% shooting, 35.2% from three, 59% TS% when Jakob Poeltl plays this season. He's at 16.7 points on 42.7% shooting, 57% TS% when Poeltl sits (oddly 40% from three)

Darko Rajakovic enraged after referees don't call a foul. Brandon Ingram thought he got hit as he launched a three-pointer. Rajakovic was held back but stays in game. Got a technical. Ingram wasn't thrilled either, but is a bit more chill than his fiery coach.

CMB over Poeltl starting was interesting. Also interesting, Mamukelashvili is the choice to come in for CMB after he picked up two fouls. Raptors seemingly want no part of Poeltl on Wemby. Poeltl came in when Wemby went to bench. Confused why he was rested yesterday only to be used this way 2day.

It's great to see Kelly Olynyk on a great team. The former Team Canada captain has only made the playoffs five times in 13 NBA seasons, most coming early in his career. Made conference finals twice, and 1 NBA Finals (Miami 2020).

Trayce Jackson-Davis doing all the right things in Raptors debut. Was advertised as a high motor guy and has been rewarded for running the floor and sticking his nose in. Also getting to free throw line a ton.

Interesting Trayce Jackson-Davis wrinkle: One of his agents, James Dunleavy, is the younger brother of Golden State GM Mike Dunleavy Jr., who just traded him. TJD said Chicago was also interest in acquiring him.

Wol-stat of the day: Raptors have scored 121.5 points per 100 possessions in the 12 games Poeltl has been available and on the floor with the other four starters. That's better than Denver's NBA-leading mark. (Defensively they've been so-so).
