Stopping at one of my favorite pizza places in Kentland, on the way home from a wedding! One of my good friends finally tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend after dating on and off for quite some time. So happy for them both! Once I get home though I got lots of errands to do.

This one was inevitable after the impact Pepper left on me at my first Indy Ignite game last Thursday - she gets a coloring page on my Mascot Board of Fame. I'm already planning another game in March, as one of my co-workers was intrigued by my trip & wants to experience pro volleyball for himself.

As a hockey fan, that's always at the top of my list. I like the faster events where speed is critical: speed skating, luge, bobsleigh, etc. As for this year's mascots: I think the 2D animated versions are CYOOT, but the 3D walkarounds are just alright.

Well my first Tahoe Knight Monsters game was a disappointment to say the least. Lost 6-0 to a really good Komets team. But the fans around me were very nice and respectful. That fan base in Fort Wayne deserves ECHL titles and they just haven't yet. At least I *finally* met Icy for Mascot Met #104.

Made it home from Fishers. I just can't thank the Indy Ignite, Fishers Event Center, and of course the Queen of the Court herself PEPPER for an outstanding night. I'm not sure who crushed harder: me falling for the world's cutest volleyball, or Pepper falling for me wearing her jersey. 😆

I watched Discovery's final launch and landing on TV. I cried both times. While these remembrance days are certainly painful for what happened in 1986 & 2003 - may the 14 brave souls we lost always rest in peace - I will always remain fascinated by space, the stars, and what's beyond our world.

I wasn't born yet when Challenger exploded 40 years ago. I had to learn about it in school. But it only made me more intrigued in the shuttle program. I was 17 and in high school when we lost Columbia in 2003. I cried watching the news after I got home from school. [1/2]
