#JusticeLeagueUnlimited - The Once and Future Thing, Part 2 Great ending to this story & season. Great to revisit the Batman Beyond setting (along with older Static, and Green Lantern's son). Again, the action is really good, and I like the conclusion of the time travel plot.

#FridayThe13th3 Continuing the 80s horror cheese. Probably my least favorite so far (2 being my favorite), but it's still fun in its own way. Some of the later kills were good, though the forced 3D moments were a bit weird even with the 2D version.

#TheBatman2004 - The Rubberface of Comedy Not only the best Joker episode, but favorite episode of the show so far. I liked the balance between chasing the Joker and the conflict with the cops. And it's nice seeing Bennett's story come to a head, especially with that twist.

#JusticeLeagueUnlimited - The Once and Future Thing Nice time travel episode. Really liked the Western style. A lot of really good action and fun dialogue. And a nice use of side characters (I only really knew Jonah Hex before). The ending has me excited for the 2nd part.

#TheBatman2004 - Bird of Prey I liked Bruce's dynamic with the TV crew that was interviewing him, and how he had to navigate his role as Batman during Penguin's attack. I do miss the Kabuki Twins' bigger role, but otherwise it's a step up from Penguin's first episode.

#TheZetaProject Finished watching this series. On one hand, I do think it's generally the weakest of the DCAU, and don't plan to revisit any time soon. On the other hand, it did have its fun moments, and I felt it was improving a bit in season 2.

#JusticeLeagueUnlimited - Waking the Dead Great return of Hawkgirl. I really like how they dealt with the weight of her actions in the original JL series, along with how it plays off her history with Grundy. Loved the moment of support from Green Lantern too.

#TheBluesBrothers Just watch this movie, and really liked it. I like how it kind of had a kind of contrast of the more grounded tone and themes than one might expect, while raising the ridiculousness to 11 in a lot of scenes. And nice homage to the blues genre with its cameos.

#TheBatman2004 - Topsy Turvy Not as strong as Joker's first episode, and had some odd plot points, but was still pretty fun overall IMO. I liked seeing Batman escaping Joker's cell, and the action was pretty good.

#JusticeLeagueUnlimited - Dark Heart A really good action-focused episode, making good use of the extended roster to add to the scope. I particularly liked the use of The Atom near the end, as he is forced to defeat the alien robots. Favorite line was when Batman was falling.

#TheBatman2004 - The Big Dummy A good take on Scarface's character. I liked Dan Castellaneta's performance (even if certain line made me think of Krusty the Clown, lol). I also liked how they portrayed his "fighting" style, as someone who's not normally that skilled.

#JusticeLeagueUnlimited - Ultimatum Takes a bit to get going, but I did end up liking Ultimen's conflict here, with the introduction of Cadmus and Amanda Waller. I've become a bit mixed on Waller's character in general, but she seems promising here (nice to hear CCH Pounder).

#TheBatman2004 - Q & A I don't mind having lighter episodes like this, and I do like the idea of Cluemaster's gimmick, but this one falls a bit flat for me. Some fun moments, but I'd say this this was my least favorite so far.

#JusticeLeagueUnlimited - The Greatest Story Never Told A very clever use of Booster Gold's character. Love the first half having the action in the background while he does menial work. But bigger story with the scientist adds some nice excitement and depth to the story.

#StarTrekDS9 - Indiscretion Love the Kira/Dukat dynamic here on the planet. We get some nice development with Dukat in particular, with the Ziyal reveal. And I really liked Kira's response to Dukat's actions near the end.

#StarTrekVoyager - Resolutions The stuff on the planet is some of the most blatant J/C shipping stuff yet, lol. I liked seeing how they grew accustomed to their situation. And it was interesting seeing Tuvok take command of the ship, dealing with such a heated situation.

#TheBatman2004 - The Big Heat The best part of this is how this one emphasizes the struggle to balance Bruce and Batman. I also liked hearing Adam West as the Mayor. Firefly was a decent villain, and the action scenes (especially the climax) were really good.

#VINLAND_SAGA Started season 2, 4 episodes in. I can imagine the change of pace not being for everyone, but I'm loving the slower character-focused story this season. Einar and Thorfinn are great co-leads, with how their relationship evolves, and their history contrasts.

#JusticeLeagueUnlimited - The Return Really liked this more menacing Amazo, and Robert Picardo really nailed his performance. Good use of the larger ensemble to sell the threat, with Atom and Green Lantern having great roles here. And I really liked seeing this side of Lex.

#12AngryMen I really liked this one. Simple but effective. The actors are all good (with some standing out more than others), and play off each other well. And it's really satisfying to see Henry Fonda's character breaking through the others' biases throughout the movie.

#TheBatman - The Big Chill Admittedly, I had to remind myself it wasn't trying to be TAS' Mr. Freeze. It leans more into the cheesiness with the one-liners, but there is a menacing edge which is nice. A pretty solid episode, even if there have been better IMO.

#JusticeLeagueUnlimited - This Little Piggy Much better than expected. Batman's dynamics with Wonder Woman and Zatana were great, the pig scenes were fun, nice cameos from other heroes, loved the use of magic & elements from The Odyssey, and the end was surprisingly wholesome.

Finished Final Fantasy 1. My first completed FF game (though I've tried others, and am in the middle of FF7). Relatively simple, but good for what it is. Looking forward to seeing how 2-6 evolve as I go through the Remastered collection.

#JusticeLeagueUnlimited - Kids Stuff In the wrong hands, the idea of the main characters turning into kids could easily fail, but it works well here. Everyone's interactions were a lot of fun, and the villain worked as a childish ruler for kids. Also, baby Etrigan was cute.

#TheBatman2004 - The Man Who Would Be Bat Story-wise, this was good, but not as strong as some others. However, I really liked the Man-Bat transformation and action scenes in this one, making it more interesting than it could have been.

#GroundhogDay #GroundhogDayMovie Finally watched this one. Having seen a lot of time loop stories on TV and other media, there are some I like more, but I'd still say it lives up to its reputation. A fun movie, and the concept is used well, especially in the latter half.

#StarTrekDS9 - The Visitor A great use of a sci-fi concept as a way to explore very real human themes. Tony Todd, Avery Brooks, and Cirroc Lofton give great performances, strengthening the themes of grief and the father/son bond between Sisko and Jake.

#StarTrekVoyager - The Thaw An interesting concept. I do feel like it gets a bit too weird in parts, but it's better than I remember. It helps that Michael McKean's able to balance his character's campiness with a more sinister side.

#JusticeLeagueUnlimited - Fearful Symmetry Really good conspiracy episode. I like the continued Supergirl/Green Arrow dynamic, and the introduction to The Question. And it does a good job drawing for the DCAU past, while setting up for a bigger plot for future episodes.

#TheBatman2004 - The Cat and the Bat I like this version of Catwoman and her interactions with Batman. The whole thing with the utility belt was fun. I can't say Katsu was a great villain, but besides that, this was a good episode.

#JusticeLeagueUnlimited - Hawk and Dove This one was ok. The villain and secondary heroes here were a bit more simplistic, but for what it was, it was still pretty fun. Some good action, and decent moments from Wonder Woman.

#TheBatman2004 - Traction Bane's not a favorite villain in general for me, but they do make good use of his typical "breaking Batman" plot here in the latter half of the episode. Some good fight scenes between the two. Also, some more nice development for Alfred.

#JusticeLeagueUnlimited - For the Man Who Has Everything Great Superman episode. Does a good job making you feel the weight of the illusory life on Superman. I also really liked Batman's role here, dealing with things in the real world. Kevin Conroy's acting was great there.

#StarTrekDS9 - The Way of the Warrior Great introduction to Worf on this show. I really like how they handle the increased conflict as we see how the Dominion's existence shifts the political tensions. Some great space action in the latter half to cap off a great premiere.

#StarTrekVoyager - Innocence A decent episode, even if it's not a favorite. I do think the dynamic between Tuvok and the girl is pretty good, as is the mystery of what happens on the planet.

#TheBatman2004 - Call of the Cobblepot A decent second episode. A bit mixed on the Penguin here, but I like the rivalry he's setting up. The Kabuki Twins were pretty creepy though. And I do like getting to see more of this Alfred.

#JusticeLeagueUnlimited - Initiation A nice introduction to this show's new dynamics. I like the idea of focusing on a small group of new JL characters under the guide of Green Lantern. Green Arrow and Supergirl were particularly interesting here, but I liked Captain Atom too.

#TheBatman2004 - The Bat in the Belfry I will need to get used to this show's style, but there are some things that show promise. I actually like this Joker, even if the design is different. It's weird not having Jordan, but the other cops' dynamic is good.

#Batman - I Am the Batman! I was mixed on this at first, but liked it more as it showed the origin of the episode of TAS "The Strange Secret of Bruce Wayne." I still think I prefer that episode (have to rewatch it), but the unique ending here was pretty interesting.

#DeathNote Finished the anime. While I wouldn't rank it as highly as others, I enjoyed it overall. The middle arc is probably my favorite for its slow burn with satisfying conclusion. The last arc could have been stronger, but was better than expected, and had a great end.

I played more regular video games on PC this year, but my most played did lean more towards Visual Novels.

#StarTrekDS9 - The Adversary Really like how handles the idea of the changelings. While future episodes use that suspicion really well, being stuck together on a ship with it really creates a great tension throughout the episode. Nice way to wrap up season 3.

#StarTrekVoyager - Investigations A good way to tie up the side-plots with Michael Jonas and Tom Paris from this season. While I'd figure Tom leaving wouldn't be permanent (even the first time), it's interesting seeing how it plays out. Good use of Neelix as well.
